Patriot Guard!
After nearly ten months in Afghanistan, Maryland’s 1729th Army National Guard unit is coming home.  We have been invited to participate in welcoming home these outstanding men and women.  This is going to be a wonderful and joyous event.  Take a few hours on Saturday, December 3rd and join us in the flag line.  This is one flag line where you’ll be expected to make noise.  Let them hear you, let them know we’re happy to have them back with us.

0800 – staging
0815 – brief
Location:          Baskin Robbins
       1057 Pulaski Highway
       Havre de Grace, MD  21078
Ride Captain:  rockk (Kevin Rock)  -  (202) 276-6277
Please be on time.  We’ll proceed to the meet point immediately following the briefing.  Bring your 3x5 hand-held flags, extras to share if you have them.  The order for the day will be Semper Gumby (always flexible).  We may need to wait for a bit, we may not need to wait at all.  A short time or a few hour investment on our part is nothing compared to the months these soldiers have spent away from their families and away from the country they love and serve.  We hope you can make it out and join us.
If you have mounted flags on your motorcycle, be sure your rig is secure and has been tested prior to this event.  All rigs will be inspected before departure.
The current weather forecast for Havre de Grace, MD, on Saturday, December 3rd is sunny with a low of 32 and a high of 50.  Monitor the weather and dress warmly.
We’ll see you on Saturday.
