Veterans Day, Galena, 11 Nov

The town of Galena, MD is once again holding their annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at the cemetery next to St. Dennis Catholic Church at 9:00 am.  As in previous years, they have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend and set up a flag line for the brief ceremony.

This is a wonderful ceremony and those Riders who have ridden it in the past have greatly enjoyed it.  The folks in Galena take great care of the Riders and hot coffee is available when we arrive.  The community was very thankful for the Riders presence in the past years.

Ride Captain will be Jim "Bubba" Hutson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Rally Time:  0800-0815 hrs
Rally Location: St. Dennis Church (Education Center) 154 N Main St, Galena,

Don't forget your 3'x5' US Flag for the flag line and to dress for whatever
the weather brings us.

Coffee and restrooms are available during the rally time at the rally point.  Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

Bubba will be hosting a starting rally point at the old Osprey (now BP/7-11) at the corner of Rt 50 and Rt 213. Anyone wishing to ride to Galena from points South, or from the west side of the bay bridge is welcome to join the group. We will 'muster' at 0700 and KSU by 0715 Thursday. We will do this rain or shine - ride on it or in it - depending on the weather, but we WILL honor our fallen heroes this day regardless of the weather.
