Vernon Kerbe, U.S. Army, 77, Hagerstown, MD, 30Apr
National Condolence Thread
Vernon served in Germany as an MP Corporal in the occupation forces during the mid-1950s. Later, as a civilian, he designed radar towers and switchboards on Naval vessels as a mechanical engineer
He had many interests during his 77 years. One of them was motorcycles. So much so that his two sons, one a PGR member, are giving their father’s remains one last ride. A multi-state escort, starting in North Carolina, will conclude in Hagerstown, MD at a memorial service for family and friends.
MD PGR has been asked to provide escort from Falling Waters, WV and stand a flagline during the Memorial Service. And we shall. Come participate in the final segment of this tribute to a veteran who obviously shared his motorcycle spirit.
