Stephen Connard, USMC Vet, ANC, 20 Jul

This is the final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor CPL Stephen M. Connard, USMC, Veteran, Crofton, MD, who passed away on May 14, 2010.  We have been invited to stand for this marine on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.  Services will take place at the Old Post Chapel, Ft. Myers, VA, with interment following at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) at approximately 1445 hrs.

CPL Connard spent four years in the Marines from 1977 to 1981.  Stationed at Camp Lejeune, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, FMF.  His MOS was in Field Artillery.

If you have them, please bring 3x5 hand-held flags for the flag line.  3x5 mounted flags on your motorcycle will not be needed for this mission.  The current weather forecast for Washington, DC, on Tuesday,  July 20th is chance of thunderstorms (30%) with a high of 92, low of 76 degrees.  Dress appropriately for possible rain and the heat.  Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
