SPC Kenneth L. Aleshire, DE ARNG, North East, MD - 4/5 Mar 2011

This is the final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor SPC Kenneth Lee Aleshire, Delaware Army National Guard, 20, Seaford, DE (Elkton, MD), who passed away on February 28, 2011. It is a go; all contacts have been made. Services at Crouch Funeral Home, North East, MD are on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at approximately 1000 hrs.

 

SPC Aleshire was killed in a pedestrian accident in Newark, DE.  He was a communications specialist and was preparing to be deployed to Afghanistan with his unit in the near future.

 

He was born July 26, 1990, in Elkton, MD.

 

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Kenneth J. Aleshire and Sherrie Cameron, his mother and stepfather Regina and Mark Barrow, and his three sisters.  He also leaves behind three grandparents and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

 

This will be a two-part mission.

Friday, March 4, 2011 – Calling hours – 1800 to 2000

Saturday, March 5, 2011 – Service and Procession to North East Methodist Cemetery

 

0800 – staging

0810 – brief / honors

1000 – Service with procession leaving immediately after

The current weather forecast for North East, MD, on Saturday, March 5th is slight chance of rain (20%) with a high of 57 degrees; low of 35 degrees. Dress accordingly.

 

Do not let the chance of rain keep you away.   You may always cage to this mission.  Please bring 3 x 5 hand-held flags for the service and interment.  If you have 3 x 5 flags mounted on your motorcycle, be sure that your rig has been tested prior to arriving at the funeral home.  All rigs will be inspected prior to departure.

 

Remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family. Stand tall and proud as we salute this hero and his family for their great sacrifice!!!
