Terry Mertes Huber

I can't say thank you enough for participating in the memorial service for my father Bob Mertes. Bob was a very proud member of the Patriot Guard and I'm so thankful for the riders who were there to take him for his final ride. I have a wonderful photo of my son sitting on the bike with one of the guard members holding my fathers' ashes...very touching. Thank you again.

Bruce Helmsing: Hubbard Funeral Home, In...

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to all of those that participated in the services for Sgt. John F. Burner, III, both for the visitation at the funeral home, and the interment in Arlington National Cemetery on October 13th, 2010. Your dedication and commitment to those that are serving, and have served is tremendous. It was an absolute honor and privilege for my Funeral Home to have been involved with the Guard and I know that we will certainly be calling upon you again. The family of the late Sgt. John F. Burner, III extends their appreciation to all of you for your efforts and your compassion during their time of loss. Thank you to all that were involved. It will not be forgotten. Bruce EW Helmsing - Managing Partner, Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc.

Patrick Benko

Dear Patriot Guard Riders, Thank you for protecting the dignity of those who died protecting our rights. I especially want to thank you for assisting the Looney family as they laid their son Lt. (SEAL) Brendan J. Looney to rest. I heard several people who were towards the back of the procession comment that they did not even know “those” people were there. Not only did you drown out their misguided hate, you did it with a level of class and respect befitting our fallen hero and the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery. God bless you in all your travels, Patrick BenkoDeMatha ‘99
