Send-off Mission Updates/Messages of Support - MDANG 1229th TNS CO, Baltimore, MD - 14 Jul 2013
Patriot Guard!
We have been invited to support the Maryland ARNG 1229th Transportation Company as they prepare for their deployment to Afghanistan. Come out to show your appreciation for their service. Be a presence for the families who will be there to see their loved ones off. Show your support for these young men and women as they serve our Country and wish them a safe return.
We will be standing the flag line during the departure ceremony. Weather and safety permitting we will also be participating in a procession to BWI-Thurgood Marshall Airport. You may come out for the flag line only if you are not comfortable with group riding at highway speeds. Know your comfort level and reflect on your skill set prior to riding in this procession. You may cage to this mission to stand the flag line. It means a lot to the troops to see you there.
