PO1 (Ret) Earl D. Tiderman, 53, Piney Point, 08 SEP 12

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to attend the memorial service and render honors for Earl Tiderman, age 53, of Piney Point, MD who died August 30, 2012 in a motorcycle accident in Augusta, WV while on his way to the Easy Rider Rodeo in Chillicothe, OH.  Mr. Tiderman served in the United States Navy as a Parachute Rigger for 20 years, retiring in 2000 after achieving the rank of Petty Officer First Class.    
He was an avid biker with a passion for riding on the open road.  He is survived by his parents, two brothers, two sons, one daughter, one grandson, and many loving family members and friends.
This mission will be a flag line only at the memorial service being held at the Lemmon Funeral Home in Timonium, MD.  Mission details are as follows:

We will maintain the flag line at the funeral home during the visitation from 1000 to 1200, followed by the memorial service starting at 1200.  There will not be an escort for this mission.
Weather for Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 83 degrees and a chance of thunderstorms.  Please dress appropriately and stay hydrated.  Also, please bring 3X5 hand held flags.  Cage or bike – it does not matter how you get there.  For those who are unable to attend weekday missions because of other obligations, this is a perfect opportunity to show the family of this Navy Veteran how much we appreciate his service to our country.
