Philip Breeding, WWII Vet, Federalsburg, 10 NOV


We have been invited by the family to honor another of this nation’s Greatest Generation.  Philip Eugene Breeding, 85, served in the US Army during World War II, seeing action in northern France and Germany.  Mr Breeding was wounded in German and received the Purple Heart.  To go along with his Purple Heart, Mr. Breeding also was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge,  the American Theater Ribbon, and also the EAME (European-African-Middle Eastern) Campaign medal with two service stars.

Please join us in honoring the selfless service of Philip Eugene Breeding by standing in the flagline and also escorting the family to the cemetery for interment.

12:30 – 1:00pm - Rallying Point: Goose Creek on MD 313 at MD 404 ramp:

1:00pm – Proceed to Moore Funeral Home, 12 S 2nd St, Denton, MD

We will stand in the flagline to support the family and friends until the 2:00 funeral service.
Immediately following the funeral service, we will escort the family to Concord Cemetery (approx. 10 miles) where we will reestablish the flag line.
Weather is supposed to be mostly sunny and around 60 degrees. Please bring your 3 X 5 Flags.  Bike or cage, please join us.
