This is a confirmed mission for the Patriot Guard to honor Paul DeShetler, Sgt, USMC, Vet, WWII/Korea, Rockville, MD.  It is a go, all contacts have been made.  Services will be held in Rockville, MD, on Monday, March 4, 2013, with interment following at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.
Sgt DeShetler joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1943.  He fought in the battle on Iwo Jima and served in Korea.  He also served in the reserves after his discharge from active duty.
Sgt DeShelter is survived by a loving family.

The weather forecast for Monday, March 4th is sunny with a low of 24 degrees and high of 43 degrees.  Check the weather prior to your departure and dress appropriately.  Do not let the weather keep you away, you may cage to this mission.  PLEASE NOTE:  If the temperature is near or below freezing and there is precipitation, motorcycles will not be allowed to ride in this procession.  If conditions do warrant and you have flag(s) on your motorcycle, make sure that your rig has been tested prior to arrival at the church.  All rigs will be inspected prior to departure.
