MSgt Tara R. Brown, 33, Silver Spring, 10 May

MSgt Tara R. Brown, USAF, AFOSI died April 27, at the Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from gunfire.  Her hometown is Florida but her and her husband were stationed here in the DC Metro Area.

Thanks to a guestbook posting we have discovered funeral services will be held in Maryland and have requested the invitation of the family to stand in her honor.

Please go to the National Condolence thread and leave your thoughts for her husband and family.  Our prayers go out to them.

We are confirmed.  The mission to honor MSgt Tara R. Brown is a go.  Services will be 10 May in Silver Spring.

9:20 - KSU - We will proceed the short distance to the church:
People’s Community Baptist Church,
31 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, Maryland

9:30 - We will  form a flag-line during the viewing which is scheduled 10am-11am and the service which will begin at 11am.
Immediately following the service, we will join the procession to the cemetery where we will once again render honors as MSgt Brown is laid to rest.
