Parade to Honor SGT Anthony Paci, Smithsburg, MD, 17 JUL 10

Pride Days Parade in Honor of SGT Anthony Paci, Smithsburg, MD, 17 JUL 10

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the annual “Pride Days” parade in Smithsburg, MD.

At the invitation of the family we stood for Sgt Paci in Bethesda for funeral services and joined the procession to Arlington National Cemetery.

The aunt of  Sgt Paci  wrote to us and said:

“My nephew Anthony Americo Paci died in Afghanistan on March 4th and was buried on March 25 at Arlington.  The Patriot Guard was there all day.  They made us feel safe and protected.  My small town, Smithsburg, MD, in Washington County, has "Pride Days" annually.  This year Pride Days weekend includes my nephews birthday, July 17th.  Specifically the parade is on the 17th.  The town wants to include in the parade a tribute to fallen soldiers. “

She would like us to ride in the parade in honor of SGT Anthony Paci. Please join us in honoring this brave young soldier.
