This year, in recognition of this Memorial Day Observance, the post will have Sandy Seidel, a Gold Star Mother as guest speaker.   Her son, 1Lt.Matthew Seidel, US Army, from Emmitsburg, MD. is a fallen combat veteran while serving in Iraq in 2006.  The Patriot Guard Riders stood for Lt Seidel on Memorial Day 2006 in Emmitsburg.

Following the guest speaker, military honors will again be rendered at the Post Memorial with a laying of a wreath, 21-gun salute, flags at half staff, and Taps.  The Patriot Guard will form a flag line at each of the ceremonies.  Please join us in paying tribute to our veterans who have served our country.
