Lance Cpl. Terry Honeycutt, 19, of Waldorf, MD. died October 27, from wounds received Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. 

LCpl Terry Honeycutt is to be buried on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 15 November 2010 at approximately 1300 hours from the Administration Building. Those services will be preceded by visitation at New Life Wesleyan Church, 9690 Shepherd’s Creek Place, La Plata, MD, 20646 on 14 November 2010 from 1700 hours to 2000 hours.

PGR will mount an Honor Flag Line for the visitation on 14 November, and on 15 November will provide: Honors at the church prior to escort, a mounted escort from the church to ANC and graveside Honors.

DOD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
