Judith Cook, USA Vet, Baltimore, MD, 13 MAY 14

The Patriot Guard Riders is honored to have been requested by the family of Judith Cook of Baltimore to escort her to her final rest at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Baltimore County, Md. and stand to honor her and her service to her country.

Originally from Baltimore, she served in the U.S. Army from 1986-1989 with a tour in Korea. She located in Phoenix, Ariz. until her passing. She loved to golf, fish, and to ride. Not only did she leave behind a family in Maryland, she also left behind her adoptive ‘family’ in Phoenix where she worked. Even though she was a private person and asked for some measure of privacy, that didn’t stop hundreds of co-workers and friends from flooding the hallways of the hospice she was staying at until her final days. Following her passing, the day she flew back to Maryland, there was a small crowd by the plane to say one final good-bye and the airline ramp guys even offered a prayer before she was placed on the plane.
