This is a confirmed mission for the Patriot Guard to honor AMSAN John F. Sunday, USN, Veteran, Vietnam, Woodford, VA, who recently passed away.  It is a go, all contacts have been made.  A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2013 at approximately 1300 hrs.  This will be a flag line only.

AMSAN Sunday was born October 8, 1940, in Washington, DC.  He grew up in Anacostia and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June 1959.  He served for four years, serving more than two years overseas and on sea duty.  AMSAN Sunday was an Aviation Structural Mechanic (Structural) Airman.

AMSAN Sunday was a lifetime motorcyclist, he loved riding and having the wind in his face.

He is survived by his wife, two children, numerous grandchildren, a large extended family and many friends.
