    On 7 October 2015, the Charlotte Hall State Veterans Center, Charlotte Hall, MD (St. Mary's County) is sending a charter bus with 24 veterans down to the World War II War Memorial, located on 17th Street and Independence Avenue N.W., Washington DC.  Similar in nature to the Honor Flights, this local event will afford the opportunity for 8 WW II Veterans to see the memorial for the first time, a memorial that portrays their service to our great nation.  The Veterans Center has requested a PGR Flag Line for these brave men, part of the Greatest Generation this nation has ever seen.

Patriot Guard Riders who participate are welcome to stay after the flag line and assist nurses pushing the veterans around the memorial, as a number of them are in wheelchairs.
