Once again the gracious folks of Galena, MD have extended an invitation to the MD Patriot Guard to participate in the Galena Dogwood Festival Parade.  They are some of our biggest supporters, here on the eastern shore and statewide.  WE want to support them in turn.  This is a fun event!  This is a parade.  All polished and shiny or decorated bikes are most welcome.

There are TWO gathering points to prepare for the parade.  One is at the parade forming site.  The other is earlier in Wye Mills.  Please make whichever is most convenient for you.
Mission site:  at Galena just east of the intersection of Jim Davis Rd. and RT 313. Please be prompt if you are riding directly to the mission site. They're strict about line-up times.  We intend to rally there at 0900.  Everyone participating in the parade MUST be there by 0945.
Preliminary rally point:  0715 at the Osprey gas/Subway/ convenience store on Grange Hall Rd. at the intersection of Rts 213 & 50 in Wye Mills, Md. (Across from Chesapeake College)  All amenities available at the preliminary rally point.  Please use them before KSU.

Preliminary rally KSU: 0745   approx. 40 min. ride to Galena
We will be traveling west on Rt 213 to Rt 301 and north to Rt 313 west.  Anyone wishing to join the procession is welcome to do so as we ride by.  Gauge your time accordingly.
Mission Time: 0900 (everyone at the parade gathering site)
Final Mission Brief: 0915
Parade start: 1000
Securely bike-mounted 3’/5’ flags are encouraged, but not required.  Hand-held flags are not needed for this mission.

Weather forecast is unknown at this time so please watch the weather reports closer to the mission date and dress accordingly.  
Get the scooter gleaming and come on out!   This is going to be a fun one!
