Frederick "Fritz" Gerard Bowen, 59, USA, Vietnam Veteran, Catonsville, MD, 27, 28 DEC 09

The family of Frederick "Fritz" Gerard Bowen has asked the Patriot Guard to join them in honoring him their loved one. Fritz served one tour in Vietnam, learning Morse code,  picking up enemy signals and triangulating radio signals to identify the locations of enemy camps.
He passed away on December 19, 2009 at the age of 59.  Fritz was an avid Harley rider. He is survived by two children, ages 25 and 22; a granddaughter, age 5; and 10 siblings.

There will be a viewing on Sunday, 27 December, and the funeral service on Monday, 28 December. At this time there will not be a procession following the service as the interment will be at a future date.

We will form a flag line for the visitation that will be held 3-5 and 7-9.
Please join us even if you can make it to only part of the visitation.

We will escort the procession a short distance to :

We will form a flag line for the funeral service which will begin at 1000.

The weather for both days is expected to be partly sunny with temps in the upper 30s to low 40s, so please dress accordingly.  Don’t forget to bring water to stay hydrated.

Please bring your 3x5 flags, but if you don’t have one, we will have extras.
