Patriot Guard Riders!

It saddens Maryland deeply to learn of the passing of Rick 'FlagMan' Yager.  Rick was not only a retired USAF MSgt but was the 1st Sgt of his command wearing the diamond, upon retirement.  He was a staunch Patriot Guard Rider.  Anyone who has ridden Arlington Missions over the last 5 years has probably seen his Patriotic paint theme Trike with the 5 large flags flying off the back.  He was also well known and loved within the GWRRA. Sadly we lost him on Friday, 9 April 2010.  He leaves behind his loving wife, a son and a daughter.

Please bring your 3x5' US Flags for the flag line.  You do not need to stay for both viewings, please come out for the time you can support.  We will be manning the flag lines for both viewings in the 2 hour increments so there will be time and close amenities to take advantage in between viewings.  Friday weather is 30% change of possible Tstorms, bring your rain gear even if you cage.  Don't let the weather stop you.

Rally Location:  Lee Funeral Home, Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton MD. 20735
Rally Time:  1215-1230 hrs
Please bring your 3x5' Flags for the flag line.  This is a flag line detail only, no procession.  Interment will take place at a later date.  We will be manning the flag line for the Funeral Service.  Saturday weather is sunny with temps of 64 degrees.  Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Please make an effort to support any segment of the mission you can make.  Rick stood many times over the years for a number of our Fallen Heroes.  His service in our Armed Forces and time with the PGR on flag lines, deserves our respect.
