National Condolence Thread

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand andhonor Cpl. Donald Brent Spicer, 40, USMC, of Mardela Springs, MD on Friday, December 7 at 1000 hours at the Short Funeral Home, Delmar, DE.
Escort and graveside honors to follow at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetary, Hurlock, MD.
Cpl. Spicer was born in Seaford, DE and graduated from JamesM. Bennett High School. After high school, he studied for 2 years at theUniversity of Maryland , Eastern Shore before enlisting in the Marine Corps in1994, serving for 8 years. He was also a past member of the Mardela Springs Volunteer Fire Dept.
We will rally at the funeral home at 0945 hours and have aflagline in place from 1000-1200 hours during visitation.

Services will follow at 1200 hours, after which we willprovide an escort to the cemetery where full military honors will be rendered.

Also, there will be a rally stop enroute at  the Harrington Royal Farms at about 0845 with KSU at 0900
to head to the funeral home from there
From points east, west and south, rally at the funeral home at 0945.

The weather for Delmar/Hurlock on Friday is forecast to be partly  sunny with a high of  54.
If you are flying a 3x5 flag on your motorcycle, mountingsecurity is a must as there will be highway speeds. All mounted flags will be subject to inspection prior to departure from the funeral home.
