Donald D. Bequeaith Sr., USN (Ret), Huntingtown, MD

Old Line State Riders...

We are extremely saddened by the recent loss of Chief Radioman Bequeaith.  He retired after a 20 year career in the USN and was a recipient of the Bronze Star, Silver Star for Good Conduct and Vietnam Service Medal.  The Chief was the Patriarch of a huge family with 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 6 grandchildren all here in Southern Maryland.  He will be deeply missed.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to attend the funeral services and show our gratitude for Chief Bequeaith's service.  It will be an honor.

We will place our flag lines prior to the beginning of the Funeral Service which will begin at Noon.  Once services are complete we will join the funeral procession to Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery for full Military Honors.  Remember to bring your 3x5 US Flag for the flag line.  Safely mounted flags will be used for the procession to Cheltenham.  Bike or cage, it is the respect that matters.

This one hits close to home.  Many of you have met my youngest daughter on missions.  The Chief is the grandfather of her best friend.  Her uncle was also a Rider who we lost to cancer in December.   We need to come out and support this family and the memory of this Chief.

Thanks for all you do,

Brian
