Complaint Department

Complaint Department!

Everything we do here in Maryland as 'leadership' is done with only two goals in mind.  To make it possible for you to show your respect and to do it as safely as possible.

Twice in the history of the PGR in Maryland, we have had emails sent to National from a "Rider".  Both times they have been extremely critical of how Maryland operates and of the State Captains at the time.  For all we know it was the same "Rider" twice.  Why don't we know?  Because the concerns were only sent to the PGR, Inc., Board of Directors.

Bottom Line:  If you don't communicate with Maryland leadership, then we don't know you are unhappy.  None of us are going to dismiss your viewpoint out of hand.  If we don't know about your issue, we can't do anything about it.  We take the input from Riders very seriously as you are the backbone of this organization.  Everything done by the State team is done with the Riders in mind.

Will we change a decision, policy or procedure based on your input?  It could happen.  It is a statistical impossibility to believe we can keep every single Rider in Maryland happy.  However, that is the goal we have set for ourselves.

I implore you to communicate with either myself or any of the ASCs/RCs here in Maryland when you have an issue.  We are not some remote, faceless, and unknown entity.  We Ride every mission in Maryland so you see at least one of us every single mission you Ride in Maryland.  There are few Riders who make missions that I have not met.

If you don't like a decision we've made or have an issue with something we are doing, please communicate that to us.  We are always open-door policy for any Rider.  I guarantee 100% non-retribution and 100% that your concerns will be addressed by the entire leadership team in Maryland.  Respect is always the word of the day.  You can send an email to the ASCs at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., to all of the RCs at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or directly to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  If your issue is with the State Captain, you can contact the ASCs directly with email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and that address does not go to the SC.

If you prefer to stay anonymous, it will make it more difficult to follow-up with you, but you can post your concerns in the "comments" section below.  Sometimes a simple phone call can clear up any misunderstandings that occur.  My phone number is on the bottom of every single Maryland Statewide Email.  It is there so if you need to communicate something, you have the number.  Maryland is not set up as a Totalitarian entity.  Your input is valued and wanted.  I would love the opportunity to explain how a decision was arrived at and solicit your views.

Contacting National is certainly okay.  However, National does not run missions in Maryland.  They have no clue what is going on within any State, what works and what doesn't. They don't know when a State is down to 2 RCs to cover the entire State, with 11 mission days in one month.  They don't know if you even Ride in the State.  All that really happens is we find out someone is unhappy, with no way to contact that Rider to address their concerns.  That is a no win situation for everyone.

Thanks,

Brian
