This is a confirmed mission for the Patriot Guard to honor Col William 'Pat' Simering, Jr., USA, Ret., Baltimore, MD, who passed away July 27, 2015.  It is a go, all contacts have been made.  Services are scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2015, with interment at the Crownsville Veterans' Cemetery.
William 'Pat' Simering, Jr., 84 of Baltimore, MD, passed away at Harbor Hospital on July 27, 2015. Pat served our country with honor for 36 years in the US Army, retiring as a Colonel. After the Army he worked as an outside plant engineer for C&P, and then with Verizon. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the Military and History channels and playing the trumpet and banjo for "The Straw Hatters". He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Simering.
Col. William 'Pat' Simering is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Crownsville Veterans' Cemetery on August 24, 2015, at approximately 1300 hrs from the cemetery Chapel. PGR has been invited to attend the services with a Flag line by his wife Betty and we will be there to stand tall, silent, and proud in honor of this Veteran, his family and friends.
