National Condolence Thread

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Archie Haman of Aberdeen, Md to provide an escort with the American Legion Riders to his final rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Born in Michigan on June 14,1929 and Departed on April 23,2013. He enlisted  in the US Army in 1947 and  Retired from the US Army in 1971 with over 24 years of service. He served during Korean War and Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal (1st OLC), Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation Badge, Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Honor Medal First Class, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Unit Citation w/Palm, Good Conduct Medal 5th award.   Archie is a resident of Aberdeen, MD. He was a member of the American Legion Post 128, Aberdeen MD. He is survived by his daughter, brother, four grandchildren,  and three great grandchildren.

    Weather is forecasted to be Partly Cloudy with temps in mid 80's, 10% chance of precipitation. Dress appropriately and bring water to keep hydrated. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel for escort. Military mandated wear is NOT required. Large mounted flags will not be flown during the escort for safety reasons due to highway speeds. Their are no services available at ANC.
