A. Joseph Meyer, Korean War Vet,

This is the final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor A. Joseph Meyer, Korean War era Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Mr. Meyer served as an MP in Germany for four years until his discharge at the rank of Staff Sergeant in February of 1955.  He was an avid motorcyclist, and at the age of 70 began the process of obtaining a pilot's license.  He died suddenly last week after a fall at his home.  Mr. Meyer's family has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at his funeral and interment.

Rally Location:  St. Mark's Catholic Church Chapel, 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
Rally Time:  0900-0915 hrs, briefing 0920 hrs.  Please keep in mind that school will be in session at the building next to the Chapel.

We will place our flag line at the Chapel for the arrival of this Veteran and his family, and for the funeral Mass.  After the service we will proceed to New Cathedral Cemetery where we will reform our flag line as a backdrop to the interment.

Weather on Wednesday should be partly cloudy with a high of 79 degrees and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Dress appropriately for the weather, hydrate, and bring 3x5 Flags.  Cage or bike, but please come out to honor this Veteran and give support to his family.
